I notice that sometimes people act like someone leave them is the end of the world, but people leave your life. It’s life — it happens. Some people aren’t going to stay in your life for as long as you want them to. It’s just the way life is. Some people just weren’t meant to be in your life for a long time.
Some people will help you see what you can’t see about yourself. You can learn new things about yourself from the people in your life — whether good or bad. You can find a new of how to be, how not to be, how to love, how to not love too much. Other people in some ways can help you grow as a person. Even with that, there’s no guarantee that the person who teaches you those things will be in your life forever — and were probably just in it to teach you something new about yourself.
I think sometimes people are just meant to show you something/make you feel something great in your life, and then leave so you can find out just how strong you are when you’re broken down and have to pick up the pieces. Some people are meant to show you that you really don’t need someone else and that you’re strong enough and are just fine on your own.
In the end, as much as you might not like it when someone leaves your life, just think about what you learned about yourself. The person at least served some kind of purpose in your life, even if they didn’t remain in it.
